Research areas:
At first, early texts on rituals concerning Vedic period as well as books of law setting rules for social and religious norms. After Ph.D. : early Hindu religious traditions and their less known texts dating from first millennium C.E.; interpretation, constructing and defining terminology which they themselves use, attempts at reconstructing their ritual and philosophical background systems; critical editions of hitherto unknown texts and manuscripts. She has been carrying out a number of projects and has been collaborating with several international projects (see Research Projects). Her additional interest is Indian arts. [Publikations...]
